Good food in the countryside
The Landgasthof Hubertus is known far beyond the borders of the Bavarian Forest for its warm Bavarian hospitality and good, regional and international cuisine. All of our dishes are mainly prepared with products from the region and we place particular emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients.
If you love good food and traditional Bavarian dishes, you´ve come to the right place. We are particularly proud of our venison specialties from the immediate area. Overnight guests can also try our unique deer salami and other various game sausages at the breakfast buffet.

Fritz Holler comes from a family of hunters. His grandfather already went hunting and his brother runs the traditional butcher´s shop right next to the hotel.
He started his cooking career in 1970 as an apprentice at the Hotel Watzmann in Berchtesgaden. After various jobs in Switzerland (in Flims, Davos, Arosa, St. Moritz, Bissone, Lenzerheide), he opened his own house on June 27, 1980: The Hotel & Landgasthof Hubertus.

The Landgasthof Hubertus is only a ten-minute drive from the city of Zwiesel and is also easy to reach from Passau and Viechtach in the Bavarian Forest. Take a little detour to us, you will not regret it.
